An inaugural meeting of psychiatrists from the top half of the North Island interested in neuropsychiatry occurred on the 7th March 2005 at the Marion Davis Library on the Auckland City Hospital site, commencing at 12.30 for lunch with the room booked until 4.30.

Subsequent meetings have been rather sporadic but nonetheless successful. The intention is to maintain a broad range of presentations, including clinical case discussions, literature reviews, lollipops, and presentations from invitied speakers (Neurolgoists, Neuropsycholgists, Neuroradiologists etc.) on relevant topics.

Any New Zealand psychiatrists with an interest in neuropsychiatry would be most welcome to join us and participate. Another meeting is being planned for March or April 2014.
